Ian Emes - Director
Ian began his film and television career as an animator. In 1973 his groundbreaking film French Windows brought him to the attention of Pink Floyd who commissioned him to visualize one of the greatest albums of all time - The Dark Side Of The Moon, which includes the iconic Time sequence. Ian's animation became the founding style for future Pink Floyd visuals, evident today in Roger Water's The Wall. He has recently staged his sixth large-scale exhibition One Of These Days, which details his legacy as well as exploring new concepts using floating screens, film, CGI and sound design. Migrating from animation to live-action, Ian has produced a body of work that includes cinema, television, commercials, installation films and more recently family entertainment.
